here have been many brand name companies caught deceiving their customers; Epson is now one of them. Tired of paying the high price of printer ink, many consumers have declared Epson's use of the Intelligence microchip 'the last straw'.
The intelligence chip makes it impossible for a user to use all the ink in an Epson ink cartridge. Because of the microchip, consumers are unable to use a 'substantial' amount of printer ink in each cartridge. Epson isn't the only brand name company to practice this malicious type of deception. Dell, Hp, and Canon are just as guilty, making them the source of quite a few controversies. According to Epson, the microchip is helping to avoid unnecessary damage to the print heads.
